Jet the Sniffer Dog came to our school and 

demonstrated on how he did his work.

Jet works in the airport as part 

of the Security Team.

We had a visit from Mr. Murphy,member 

of Blarney Historical Society.

He gave us a lot of information on 

History of Blarney.

When the Sam Maguire cup and several 

Cork team members visited !!!!!!!

Poet Adam Wyeth visited us last

Wednesday and gave us some great 

ideas on how to write poetry.

Jody from the Slug Club at 

Griffins Garden Centre visited 

us on our Planting Day.He spoke 

to us about taking care of our plants.

Visit of BT Young Scientist Richard O' Shea

On Thursday the 28th of January, great excitement was 

generated by the visit of our past pupil Richard O' Shea 

to the school.All the pupils assembled in the hall were 

fascinated by his award winning project and his 

demonstration of its use.Richard answered lots 

of questions from the boys.Mr Kelly presented 

Richard with the most recent Cork Jersey.

We are very proud of our past pupils achievement

and of the fact that he has been recognised as a 

wonderful ambassador for both his schools and the wider 

community of Blarney.
